In case you hadn’t seen, my blog has now moved to www.andrewrichardsonphotography.com/blog

This is in an effort to consolidate my site and have a bit more uniformity from my home page to my blog to galleries etc.  It also really streamlines the process of posting images as the blog function is now integrated with my hosting site.

I really dig this white theme though, so I might do a site-wide makeover soon!

One of the newspapers I shoot for has me doing lots of small business coverage, this can lead to some interesting photo situations as I am often visiting the business during normal hours and trying to make a nice picture in a very short amount of time.

One of the first I covered was La Magnolia Trattoria, a small Italian restaurant in Magnolia, TX, and its owner Genci Krasniq who makes a mean fettuccine chicken alfredo.

Early in November I shot a worship service on campus for the Quest band Refuge.  I meant to do a blog post but somehow school and finals and all that made it slip my mind!

Until now.

Typically the Tuesday night Quest service has worship and a speaker, for Kaleo they wanted to incorporate multiple kinds of worship.  The service included the band, poetry readings, a special violin performance, a display of works of art and a painter who worked on a piece throughout the service.  It was all really quite cool and I was fairly pleased with the images I made, see some below.
